Deanery Committees

The Guernsey Deanery Board of Finance LBG

The Guernsey Deanery Board of Finance LBG is a Guernsey registered charity whose purpose is to promote, assist and advance the work of the Church of England in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and generally for other charitable objects.  It is responsible for all financial matters relating to the Deanery of Guernsey.

 It is required annually to present its accounts and a budget to the Guernsey Deanery Synod.  That Synod is constituted by the Synodical Government (Channel Islands) Order, 1970 which applies, with certain modifications and variations, The Synodical Government Measure, 1969.  The Order was made pursuant to The Channel Islands (Church Legislation) Measure, 1931.

The Guernsey Deanery Fund LBG is a Guernsey registered charity whose purpose is to hold investments, including real property, for the benefit and advancement of the Church of England in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and generally for other charitable objects.

The Standing Committee

This is the executive committee of the Deanery Synod. It also functions as the Deanery Pastoral Committee.
