Public worship suspended on Sunday 24 January

23rd January 2021

Following the announcement from the States of Guernsey this morning about evidence of community seeding of Covid-19 infection, the Dean of Guernsey has written to all Church of Emgland churches in Guernsey, asking them to suspend all public worship in Guernsey on Sunday 24 January.

Similar decisions have been made by the leaders of the Catholic and Methodist churches and the Salvation Army in Guernsey.

Many individual churches will be providing online worship. More information will be on the websites of local churches.
